FOODS FOR GLOWING SKIN
Over the years, one of the main reasons I began to eat healthier was because I noticed the connection between the foods I ate and the health of my skin.
I began incorporating more whole foods into my “diet” and, with time, I began to notice that my skin had more of a glow to it, which excited me to experiment further!
I’ve always loved experimenting with new ways of doing things and being my own guinea pig.
Sometimes it works out and I discover a better way of doing something .. and sometimes it doesn’t .. haha .. but that’s life! :D
With time, I decided to try an elimination “diet” to pinpoint, even further, the exact foods that my skin disliked.
I discovered that my skin highly dislikes and becomes inflamed when I consume DAIRY!
All dairy aggravates my skin, even if it’s raw.
It took me a long time to COMPLETELY stop consuming dairy but when I did, it was further evidence that it was aggravating my skin, even when I ate it infrequently, and in small amounts.
The list below is by no means the ONLY foods that will improve the health of your skin, but it is a pretty thorough list. : )
Keep in mind, you might want to do your own experiment to see which foods your skin loves.
