WHY I LOVE SOAKING:
In 2012, when I started personal training, I remember learning about the numerous benefits resulting from soaking in warm water combine with Epsom Salt — Magnesium Sulfate; a crystallized structure and natural compound. I immediately began experimenting, which felt effortless because I’ve always enjoyed having a soak in the tub and love all things self-care. (As a kid, I remember my parents asking me what I wanted to do during the upcoming weekend, and I told them I wanted “a whole day of self-care” .. Hah!). I started experimenting with having an Epsom Salt bath when my muscles felt sore, after a workout, or I would soak my feet after a stressful day. But gradually, I incorporated more soaks into my routine regularly, rather than strictly for ‘times of need’, which led me to notice how much better I felt after each soak! That’s when I realized that soaking is a preventative practice and, like any other, consistency is key to maintaining desired results.
